A refused UAE visa costs you the visa fee, sometimes the ticket, and a lot of stress. Most Dubai visa rejection reasons for Pakistanis are small, avoidable problems in the file. Here are the 10 we see most often, and what to do about each one before you apply.

10 Dubai visa rejection reasons for Pakistanis
1. Passport validity or condition
The passport should be valid for at least 6 months from the travel date and must not be damaged. A torn page or water mark can be enough for a refusal.
2. Wrong or poor quality photo
Use a recent photo on a plain white background, face clearly visible, no filters and no selfies. Blurry scans are a common reason for an application to be returned.
3. Name or detail mismatch
Your name, date of birth and passport number must match exactly across the passport, ticket, hotel booking and form. One missing letter in a surname can stop the file.
4. Previous overstay or absconding case
If you overstayed earlier or an old employer filed an absconding report, the system will flag it. This has to be cleared before a new visa can be issued.
5. Weak proof of funds

6. No return ticket or hotel booking
A confirmed return reservation and hotel booking (or a relative’s address with their documents) show that your trip is a genuine visit.
7. Unclear purpose of visit

8. Applying through an unreliable agent

9. Incomplete documents for family members
Children and spouses need their own complete set: passport, photo, and often a birth certificate, FRC or nikah nama to show the relation.
10. Applying too close to travel
Rushed files have more mistakes. Apply early, and do not buy a non-refundable ticket before the visa is approved.

- Find the actual reason before you reapply. Applying again with the same file usually gives the same result.
